Quality is a broad concept that only gains meaning when it is clear what it entails. For Kroost Nannies, quality means:
The right interaction between enthusiastic, dedicated nannies who care for and inspire children;
Childcare supervisors and pedagogical coaches who are ready to support nannies and advise parents proactively and on request;
Accurate office staff who ensure smooth administrative and financial handling of childcare;
Parents who can confidently entrust their children to the care of their nanny.
All of this takes place within a framework of clear agreements where coordination and personal responsibility are central.
Quality is never “finished.” That is why we continuously work on the development of both the agency and our nannies. Kroost Nannies, often together with Gastouderbureau Kroostopvang, offers workshops and (online) training. Each nanny and family is offered an annual meeting with one of our pedagogical coaches, and nannies are encouraged to participate in a professional network. This fosters the exchange of ideas and experiences with colleagues, for example during a coffee morning or Nanny Lunch.
Kroost Nannies itself is constantly evolving. We do this in consultation with parents and nannies to understand your needs and ideas. Where possible, we involve our Parent Committee and, of course, our pedagogical coaches.
