Monthly costs consist of:
The gross payment (1) for the nanny and the monthly agency support fees (2)
1. Gross payment nanny – home-based childcare
On average €21.00 gross per hour per family
2. Agency fees
Registration fee €187.50
These costs cover the administration required to register you and your child(ren) and the intake meeting with the childcare supervisor. You only pay the registration fee if we assess that we can find a suitable nanny for you and schedule an intake meeting.
We will then recruit for you for six months via various social media channels and conduct interviews with candidates.
Recruitment and selection fee €1,011.25
Once we have found a nanny for you, this fee is payable once.
If we are unable to present a nanny after six months, the recruitment and selection agreement can be extended for €140.00.
Preparation for LRK registration €375.00
This is a fee for the work we carry out to submit an application for registering your nanny in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
Monthly agency support fee per family €239.00
If childcare is provided by more than one nanny, a surcharge of 35% applies to the agency and support fees. If you share a nanny with another family at the same address, both families receive a 35% discount on the agency and support fees.
* Registration in the National Childcare Register (LRK) is a requirement for childcare allowance.
Note: Municipalities may charge fees for registering home-based childcare (administrative fees). Kroost Nannies informs parents in advance about any applicable fees in your municipality.
Note: In case of (partial) termination of an employment contract, including under the Home-Based Services Regulation, the parent(s) are required to pay a transitional allowance proportionally (Work Market in Balance Act 2020).
