From January 2019 until early 2021, Kroost Nannies had an active Parent Committee.
The term of office for committee members is 24 months, after which elections are held and the composition may change. The committee aims to represent parents as fairly as possible from the various regions.
The purpose of the Parent Committee is to represent the interests of all children and parents connected to Kroost Nannies as effectively as possible. In addition, the committee provides advice on behalf of all parents regarding the quality of childcare.
The Parent Committee is not a complaints committee for parents. It consists exclusively of parents who use our childcare services, preferably with at least 3 and no more than 7 members.
Every parent is encouraged to provide input or request advice from the committee! The committee serves as a point of contact for parents and works positively to balance the various interests—both those of Kroost Nannies and of the parents and children.
The committee meets at least twice a year, with part of the meeting held jointly with representatives of Kroost Nannies.
At the start of its term, the Parent Committee can set its own action points. Topics for advice include quality policies and annual adjustments to rates. Committee members should not address personal agendas; topics should reflect the interests of as many parents as possible. Let the Parent Committee know if you have questions or suggestions.
Are you interested in joining the committee? We would love to hear from you. Send a short message to info@kroostnannies.nl and we will get in touch.
Until a new Parent Committee is established, a parent forum will be set up in 2026, open to all parents. Kroost Nannies will use this forum to ask for advice on topics such as changes to the pedagogical policy, general policies, and rates.
