Kroost Nannies is the result of many years of experience in childminding at childminders' homes (gastouders) and childminders at home (nannies) from the Kroostopvang childminding agency. Kroostopvang was founded in 2000 by Carlien Langelaan. In 2013, a separate agency was established for childcare at home by a nanny. Kroost Nannies and Kroostopvang are part of the Kroost Family, together with the administrative office Kas & Kroost. Kroost Nannies specialises in the recruitment and selection of nannies and is a registered childminding agency, so parents can apply for childcare allowance. Kroostopvang is a registered childminding agency for small-scale childcare in childminders' homes, and Kas & Kroost is the administrative office that takes care of all the administrative tasks for parents, nannies and childminders/gastouders.
